The women of alt.sex.femdom,
some of whom may recognize their names in this story. The characters
in the story are totally fictitious and have absolutely no connection
with real world people. However, Snowflake and Mule would like to
honor all the sources of our inspiration. Consider the imitation
an attempt at flattery.

About writing The Painter's
Daughters
The Painter's Daughters
was a collaborative effort of two alt.sex.femdom subscribers, Snowflake
and Mule. Long before we had the opportunity to meet, we collaborated
on plot lines, emailed revisions back and forth through the net,
and made the story come to life.

About
the Authors
Snowflake by Mule:
I met Snowflake on the
net when he responded to my Making of a Mistress series. At that
time he indicated his interest in writing femdom fantasies. I had
the rough outlines of a story and I mailed it to him. My original
plan was a short story of about two chapters. Snowflake was much
more ambitious, and The Painter's Daughters as it is today is ten
times larger.
Snowflake is the creator
of Kimmie Worthington, the most feminine character I've come across
in any story. If the chromosomes of males are XY and females are
XX, then Kimmie is XXX! Aside from her physical appearance, she
walks, acts, and moves in every way feminine. Every ounce of her
body, every ruffle in her clothing, and every detail of her makeup
and hair say "girl power." Kimmie's seductive grace and erection-provoking
movements produce an induced testosterone intoxication in all men
who see her. Combine these talents with a mind bent on the domination
of males, and you have a woman that will make any man drop to his
knees in her presence.
Snowflake is Kimmie.
He breathes her, sleeps her, thinks her, and (as far as I know)
dresses like her. He has really put a lot of himself into the character.
Snowflake and I assumed
our female personas so frequently during the writing of this story
that our correspondence was often carried out as Linda and Kim rather
than Mule and Snowflake. As a result, Snowflake and I have come
(no pun intended) to know each other well as "sisters." Like sisters
we seem to know each other's thoughts, but more importantly, we
are able to share each other's feelings. It makes the writing a
lot easier when the characters are actually real people.
Snowflake is a gentle
soul with a lot of love and devotion to give to the right woman.
If she's into domination (and why shouldn't she be if she's reading
this story), so much the better. If he has to choose, however, Snowflake
is more interested in sharing his life with a woman in a stable,
mutually supportive relationship than he is in playing dom-sub games.
P.S.: Since we've started
this story, Snowflake has found the woman who embraces both these
ideals. He adores her with all his heart, mind, and body. He expects
to adore her forever, and to bring happiness to their relationship
every day for the rest of their lives.

Mule by Snowflake:
There was so much that
impressed me about Making of a Mistress. I wrote to Mule and said
that if I went to the book store and picked up a copy of MoaM along
with Tom Clancy's latest thriller and had only enough money in my
pocket to buy one of the books, honest-to-god I did not know which
one I could put down.
For me, Mule had this
unique ability to combine the innocence of pre-pubescent youth with
such total, absolute erotic power. As MoaM unfolded I began checking
the net every hour hoping the next chapter had arrived and wondering
what this so very young femdom would do next. I fell in love with
her long before she reached the age of consent, and remember saying
to myself "Thank goodness they can't shove me in the slammer just
for thinking about her."
Logically, it was impossible
that this girl could exert her control in so many different ways.
But emotionally I "knew" that who she was and what she did was totally
credible. To my mind MoaM is, pure and simple, a delightful story.
Collaborating with Mule
on TPD has been a wonderful experience in many ways, and I have
learned so much more by working with him than would ever have been
possible had I tried to write my first real story alone.
Also, I have come to
know another human being and I've been fortunate to learn something
of the very loving (and totally monogamous and non dom-sub) relationship
he and his wife share. Yet even he acknowledges that, "Whether she's
a domme or not, a smart man knows how important it is to please
his woman."
Before this story was
completed I had the opportunity to meet Mule. (Heck, on the Great
Circle route I'm closer to Helsinki than you are!)
I found that Mule is,
in person, every bit as much a great guy as I'd anticipated through
the medium of cyberspace.
